CILANTRO AKA CORIANDER AKA CHINESE PARSLEY

To me the vegetable above has always been known as Chinese Parsley but to others it can be cilantro or coriander.  As a matter of fact, it may be called other names in different parts of the world.  However, one thing for certain is that this particular vegetable is a herb which has medicinal properties.  My late mother used to boil it as a soup to lower her high blood pressure and blood sugar.  I also know that the leaves contain antioxidants and so it helps to slow down aging.
Personally I love to make a soup out of Chinese Parsley.  It has that strong type of smell and 'soapy' taste but I love it.  Besides vain ole' me, will take lots of parsley knowing that it helps me to look youthful.
