Last Friday, my friends and I got invited to a farewell dinner by the owners, Linda and her son Thomas, of the organic shop that we frequented. Thomas has decided to concentrate on his business of taking people out to sea to fish in his boat. My friends and I were so shocked to find out their decision to close their shop. All of us loved eating Linda's cooking so much. However she assured us that if there was a group of us who wants a meal, she would cater to us. Also if she had orders for her famous laksa and otak-otak, she'd give me a tinker so that we can order as well. Sigh!!! It is so hard for us to find a shop with such delicious home-cooked food using all the organic stuff.
