Lai Yoong and I saw these very large T-shirts at a departmental store recently. These are the plus plus sizes ranging from 2XL to 6XL. You can see how large a 5XL T-shirt is compared to Lai Yoong who is small sized.
Thanks to size "inflation" sizes in the West are generally bigger than sizes in Asia. So a "L" here would be more like an "M" in Malaysia. You can imagine what our size "6XL" looks like.
I lived in Bristol for 2 years and have a pretty good idea about British sizes. Some of my Malaysian friends had to buy clothes from the children's section when they studied there.
