Whenever Lai Yoong goes back to Ipoh with me, we'd go climb up Layang-layang Hill to reach the Jade Emperor Temple. We'd pray for the well-being of our family members and friends. At the same time, we do some meditation to recharge our Qi.
When we went up last Saturday morning, we said a special prayer for a young friend of ours who was contesting in an election for Perak Youth Chief that afternoon. Our prayers were answered as the young man in question won.
By the way, I also prayed for my friend Spring and her family. I usually include her in my prayers whenever I go to the temples as she had requested me to do so for her.
