FRIED GLASS NOODLES 炒冬粉
Glass noodles fried with mixed vegetables and seafood is one of my favourites. When my mum was alive, she'd ask me to order this dish from the Ah Pek Lee Kou Hock Seafood Restaurant whenever she visited Sitiawan.
By the way Glass Noodle is also sometimes known as Cellophane Noodle. It is a special noodle that is made from mung bean (green bean). In Cantonese, it is called Dong Fun 冬粉.
You can actually order this dish from many coffee shops and restaurants in Malaysia. It is usually fried with bean sprouts which gives sit a crunchiness.
The one that is featured above is fried with mixed vegetables and seafood sans the bean sprouts. Once you have tried it, you'd go back to this particular seafood restaurant in Kampung Cina for more.
