GUAVA LEAVES

Whenever someone in the college tells me that they have diarrhea, I'd tell them to go pluck a few young leaves from the guava tree and eat.  Most of the time, it works.  Some people who can't eat the leaves raw, boil them in water and then strain before drinking the concoction.
Besides diarrhea, guava leaves can also be used as a pain reliever for tooth ache, but these leaves must be fresh. During toothache simply chew one or two tender guava leaves until the juice of the leaves start working on the affected tooth. Another remedy is to put four to five guava leaves in a glass of water and boil it properly. Once this solution becomes warm add some salt and use it as a mouthwash.
