F.M.S. STYLE FRIED NOODLES

Many years ago, there was a eatery in Ipoh called F.M.S. Bar and Restaurant.  This was a popular watering hole where miners and planters in Ipoh used to go for their stengahs in the days of the Federated Malay States.  F.M.S was founded by a Hainanese immigrant and F.M.S.  was actually thea acronym for Fedrated Malay States.  The food there was really delicious as the Hainanese are known to be good cooks.  My family and I especially liked the fried noodles.  Unfortunately the place was closed for renovation but until today it has not reopened for business.
There is one place in Ipoh that serves fried noodles almost like the ones at F.M.S. and it is First Coffee House.  My aunt and I both agreed that the noodles the style of cooking was quite similar.
