PETAI A.K.A. STINKY BEANS

Petai or Stinky Beans is high up on my list of favourite food.  I can eat them raw but prefer them fried with sambal and prawns.  Yum yum.
When I was at the supermarket I noted that the price of a pack of petai was marked at RM15.90.  Now this is really expensive for 500 grams worth.

When I went back to Ipoh, I saw that these beans were sold at RM6 per packet.  So much cheaper and fresher.  So I will be enjoying my favourite food for dinner tonight.
