TORCH FLOWER

Bunga Kantan or Torch flowers are used as an ingredient in making laksa and also kerabu.  I have this plant in the herb garden but it takes a while for a flower or two to grow.  Nowadays the price of one stalk of this flower is about RM1.00.
The ones featured above are only 50 sen.  I get them from a lady in Ipoh who grows them in her farm and so they are much cheaper.
