RED BEAN SOUP AND PANCAKES

The lotus pancakes above are popularly served as dessert in Chinese restaurants during a banquet dinner, usually with a sweet dessert soup like the red bean soup.  I guess these two dishes are served at the end to leave a sweet taste for the guests.
