HOLIDAY MAKERS FROM SINGAPORE

 My nephew and his friends from Singapore have come to Malaysia for a visit. During the weekend they were in Ipoh and on Monday they travelled to Sitiawan.  On hand to welcome them were Lai Yoong and I.  Ever the gracious hostesses we made sure they had lunch and then sent them to the Lumut jetty where they boarded a ferry for Pangkor Island.
These young holiday makers will be there until Wednesday.  For the boys this will be a holiday before they enlist in the army where they need to serve for two years.
In the above picture, you see me with the holiday makers from Singapore at the Lumut Jetty.  Below is a picture of Lai Yoong with Jia Han, the sole girl in the group.  She won't need to enlist but will be furthering her studies at the university.
