My Aunt Linda suggested having lunch at the First Coffee House in New Town last weekend. According to her, she and my Uncle Jimmy would sometimes have dinner at this place as the food was to their taste.
Now this Coffee House is an old establishment in Ipoh. It was started in 1978 and has kept going until today. One unique thing about this place is that the waiters and waitresses are all senior citizens. I kid you not. The waitress there who should be in her sixties told me that she has been working there for more than 30 years and so have the rest of the staff. Why? Because their boss is very nice.
So if you happen to be in Ipoh, why not give this place a try. The food is delicious and the price is reasonable.
