It is Christmas eve today and I am in Tai Chung Taiwan. It appears that this festival is not celebrated on a grand scale here. About half the population are either Buddhists or Taoists. Tomorrow is not a public holiday here.I
Enjoy Taiwan. Make sure you go to Hualien and visit the nearby Marble Gorge. Above all doubly make sure you visit the National Museum. I keep planning to go to Taiwan from here but the airfares are relatively expensive. Still a wonderful place.
