MAKING GOOD LOOKING PEOPLE LOOK WEIRD

I am a huge fan of South Korean superstar Rain.  I became a fan after watching the hit drama, "Full House" and I am sure that there are millions of Full House fans like me in the world.  It was somewhere last year that I found out that a sequel to this drama was being shot and I was really looking forward to it.
When photos of the upcoming drama were posted on the internet, I had a big shock.  The HAIR style of the two main leads were simply ridiculous.  The main lead actor, No Min Woo had this frizzy light brown hair with side parting, while the main actress had short curly hair that reminded me of Little Orphan Annie. And the clothes she wore made her look frumpy. With the permed hair and dowdy clothes, she looked like an ahjumma or a good wife. The other male lead had blond hair which did not look too bad on him but still I felt he looked better with his original black hair.  Another issue I had was how skinny both the actors looked, especially No MinWoo.  Goodness, the poor chap looked starved. And they had pale pasty skin that could make Edward Cullen envious. How on earth could the director take three perfectly good looking people and make them look ridiculously weird.
I had actually set out to dislike the drama and watched a few episodes to see how bad it was.  Know what? I ended up liking it for the zaniness and craziness.  Believe me, it is rather comical and very entertaining.
Judge for yourself. Below are pictures of how the three of them would normally look like.
No Min Woo                        Hwang Jung Eum                     Park Ki Woong
No Min Woo                                                     Hwang Jung Eum

I still have issues about this K-drama that I wish to blog about and will do so this weekend.  Perhaps the makers of the drama had set out to grab viewers' attention through all the weirdness.
