When I was there, I discovered that the park was divided into two sections. The first section could be accessible by road but the second section which has a landscaped park can only be accessed by boat as it is located across the lake. The boat trip takes about five minutes from the jetty at the office building and the costs for a return trip is RM3 for adults and RM1.50 for children and senior citizens for a return trip.
There are two watch towers, three kampong houses, a playground and mini zoo at this park. There are picnic grounds, a campsite, foot-paths, a boardwalk along the lake and plenty of beautiful flora.
The park is open from 8.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. daily except on Fridays when it is open till 4.00 p.m.
Here is the list of dont's from the park authorities
The Operation time for the boat
Here you see my aunt sitting at the jetty. Initially she said that she would go across the lake with me and I had bought her a ticket and senior citizen's rate but last minute she had cold feet. She said that she had a phobia of water.
So I had to go over to the other side on my own.
Here is part of the park.
You can see the jetty from here.
A pavilion for holiday makers to rest and have a picnic.
