Leeks are not exactly my favourite vegetables but seeing them at the market reminded me of my late mother. When she cooked leeks, I'd enjoy eating them. Yeah! My mum was a good cook. She'd fry the leeks with prawns and they'd taste great.
Actually, eating leeks is good for us as they can can help lower blood pressure, strengthen the cardiovascular and immune system, and help reduce cholesterol. It is also known that the leek contains substances that act as natural antibiotics. LINK
