Though I am an Ipoh girl, I had never sampled the famous Liew Fun at the Big Tree Foot in Pasir Pinji, Ipoh until last weekend. The stall is located near the Tuck Kee Restaurant and serves deliciously succulent and bouncy deep fried fish paste stuffed in various manners. It is a popular spot for quick, cheap and satisfying meal for the locals, not to mention the tourists. The stall is more popularly known as “Dai Shu Geok” literally translated as Big Tree Foot.
