BLOOD DONATION DRIVE

There was a Blood Donation Drive at the Manjung District Hospital this morning and the organisers gave a call to my pal, Daniel who is a regular blood donor. As a matter of fact, this was the 77th time he was donating blood.
For your information, blood donation is the the voluntary act of allowing one's blood to be drawn out of the body. Obviously, the most notable advantage why people donate blood is the exhilarating feeling of having saved someone's life. Besides accumulating merits from this generous act, there are actually a number of benefits for the blood donor. To find out more about the benefits of donating blood, click this LINK.
Daniel is queueing for his turn to register for the blood donation.  He asked for permission to go to the hospital so that he could take part in the drive.  I too asked for permission to go along as I wanted to take pictures.  Actually, it does not take long to donate blood - just 5 to 10 minutes.
Here Daniel is filling in his particulars for the blood donation.
There were many people who had come to donate blood.  Quite a number were from the Navy.
