DINNER AT VIETNAMESE CAFE

Lai Yoong and I have been saying that we'd try out the food at the Vietnamese Cafe near Shabu Shabu Restaurant in Sitiawan but kept putting it off until last week.  To our pleasant surprise, the place looked clean and the decor was modern. The address is No. 86/87, Persiaran Pm 2/5, Pusat Bandar Seri Manjung Seksyen 2, 32040 Seri Manjung, Sitiawan, Perak 32040.
It was seafood fried rice for me and chicken fried rice for Lai Yoong.  We also ordered the shrimp papaya kerabu.  So how was the food? The fried rice was okay and very much similar to those that we can order from Chinese shops.  What we both liked was the kerabu.
The two of us will go again and try other Vietnamese dishes next time.  By the way, the person who served us was a Chinese Viet who spoke Cantonese.  So we had no trouble communicating our order.
