WAH! A CAT WITH WINGS

In Sichuan Province, China, it seems that there are some Tom Cats which have sprouted wings.  Yeah!  The photos are original, not photo-shopped.  It seemed that a few of the male cats in the province started to sprout wings after a heat wave in 2008.  Why did this happen? The news article that I read said that these growths come from "poor grooming, a genetic defect or a hereditary skin condition."
