Teacher's Day was celebrated nationwide on 16 May by most schools but my college only celebrated it today as the students were sitting for their examinations on that day.
This year the celebrations were no where as grand as the previous years as everyone was busy with the exams.  Still there were the speeches and performances, cards and gifts from the students.
