USING PLANTS TO COUNTERACT NEGATIVE QI

Counteract Negative Energy
Use indoor plants to absorb negative energy within your home and to block it from entering the building. Plants are said to add bursts of vitality to the areas they occupy, making them perfect for giving life and color to cold, dull rooms. Place a tall ficus in a corner to soften sharp lines, balance bulky ceiling beams and help energy flow through a room. Set small potted plants near electronics to absorb negative electromagnetic energy. Feng shui practitioners advise that planting a spiny plant, like a cactus or holly, outside your front door or placing such plants in windows will help protect your home from negative forces. Philodendrons and scented plants like herbs or sweet-smelling flowers will add warmth to a cold space and attract people into it, making the space more useful. Hanging plants can counteract a high ceiling to make an area feel cozy and warm.
