Lai Yoong accompanied me to the Tua Pek Kong Temple in Pasir Panjang for my birthday prayers last night. As I was busy with work the whole day, I had only managed to call her while driving home from work at 6.30 p.m. Luckily for me, she was able to keep me company for the evening. We had dinner before going to the temple.
Actually, both of us prefer going to the temple at night as it looks much more magnificent. Besides, the place is cooler and breezier and a lot less crowded. Next time, I will suggest to her that we have a picnic there at night so that we can absorb more positive Qi and at the some time take in the beauty of the place.
