ONLY IN HELL DO THEY USE MONEY



It is Qing Ming season and the Taoists are making sure that their ancestors would be getting enough to spend in the afterworld by burning paper money or Hell Bank Notes for them.  By looking at the denomination of the notes, you would not be wrong in wondering if the dead Chinese would be ultra rich.
One wonders if those in Hell use money since they are called Hell Bank Notes.  On the other hand, do those who go to Heaven have any need for money at all?  Ponder about it.

I was surprised to find some "Hell" money around the university. I guess some Asian student had it. I took it so I could show some of my colleagues. While I don't like to think of myself as superstitious - the Hell money - started giving me the heebee geebees and I got rid of it. I had the same feeling after I developed some pics I had taken of Chinese gods. Too scary for my photo album.
