IPOH SALT BAKED CHICKEN


'Yim Kok Kai' 盐锔鸡 or Salt Baked Chicken is a popular food in Ipoh.  There is one shop in Theatre Street that is famous for this dish.  In my case, I don't eat it as I don't eat chicken.  When I was at the Wooley Food Court in Ipoh Garden a few days ago, I happen to see the worker of a shop in the process of baking the chicken which is wrapped in paper and covered in rock salt.
