T-SHIRTS FOR THE YEAR OF THE DRAGON

Some of my friends and colleagues have asked me whether I have bought new clothes for the Chinese New Year and my answer is Yes.  So far I bought two t-shirts.  One is shown above. I was drawn to the friendly looking dragon with the other 11 Zodiac Animals riding on its back.  It costs RM17.  The other which also costs RM17 is white in colour with two golden dragons emblazoned on it.  Are you thinking,"Wah! So cheapskate"?  Hey!  Let me tell you that I find that the T-shirts are very meaningful and I will be able to wear them at home and feel comfortable in them.  Previously, I bought fancy clothes and only wore them once for the festival.  After that they stayed in my cupboard for some time before I gave them away to a charity.
By the way, I also have a new blouse that Lai Yoong gave me as a present for the new year.  I will also be buying a new baju kurung to start work and another outfit to go to the temple.  In the picture below is a T-shirt, that I bought for my nephew, James.  It only costs RM8.80.
