Whenever I am back in Ipoh, I would make sure that I go up T'ung Wah Tong Hill to pray homage to the Jade Emperor and the other Taoist deities at the Temple. At the same time, I enjoy my climb up the 168 steps as I get to do a bit of exercising. The added bonus is I get to see a panaromic view of my hometown Ipoh. If you look at the pictures, Ipoh is surrounded by hills as it is located in Kinta Valley.
