The Chinese believe that the graveyards of their ancestors affected the well-being of their descendants. The article below is about a family who sought to change the Feng Shui of their late mother's grave to change their luck.
A FAMILY from Penang exhumed the remains of their mother who died nine years ago, and then cremated it in the hope that this would change their luck for the better, reported China Press.
They decided on this after a family member mysteriously fell from a building while two others were afflicted with unknown diseases.
A temple medium had informed them that the feng shui of their mother's graveyard was bad.
The four-hour ceremony was carried out on Friday morning and the family hoped that everything would be fine from now.
Federation of Taoist Associations Malaysia president Tan Hoe Chieow said the graveyards of ancestors affected the feng shui of their descendants.
However, Tan said the people should not blame everything on feng shuias sometimes tragedies occurred due to other reasons.
