MASSAGE THERAPY FOR HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE

Carol, Li Na and Shemone
After I saw Lai Yoong getting her pedicure at the Top Beauty Centre a couple of days ago, I also made an appointment to have a massage session with the beauticians at the centre.
I persuaded Kamariah to go with me to the centre to have the massage session as she was not feeling well and her blood pressure reading had been low for her age range for the past few days.  Yesterday afternoon, she felt giddy and her blood pressure reading went up instead.  I reckoned that a good massage would help her blood circulation and help her to relax. In this way, her blood pressure would go back to normal.  In my case, my blood pressure is okay already but I wanted to make sure that it stays that way, hence the massage.
The centre is owned by two twin sisters, Carol and Shemone.  Carol the younger twin attended to me while her elder sister, Shemone did the massage therapy for Kamariah.  Hopefully, she will be okay by tomorrow.  If not, I will make her go and consult a doctor.

INFO ABOUT MASSSAGE THERAPY BENEFITS TO LOWER BLOOD PRESSURE
One of the most effective ways to stave off high blood pressure is massage therapy. A number of long term studies have shown that a consistent massage program can decrease diastolic and systolic blood pressure; decrease salivary and urinary cortisol stress-hormone levels; and lower sources for depression, anxiety and hostility.

As is the intent with all massage programs, the ultimate goal lies in a pain free and relaxing lifestyle. Controlling blood pressure is just one of the added benefits of massage therapy.
