LEARNING TO WEAVE KETUPAT CASINGS

My colleagues and students at the Skills Workshop took part in a ketupat weaving session this morning.  The teachers who knew how to weave the ketupat casings imparted their skills so that this traditional art would not be lost.
I only arrived at the workshop after the weaving session was over and got to see the finished products.  However, I managed to get the pictures from my colleagues who remembered to record down this special event.  For your information, I already know how to weave the casings for the ketupat.  I learnt how to do so way back in 1986 when I was teaching in a village called Kampung Kinjang.
For those who haven't the slightest clue what a ketupat is, please click this link.
