One of my neighbours is getting is house renovated. His is a west facing house. I like the strong solid wooden door that he has chosen to replace the glass sliding door. From what I have read in Feng Shui books, this is a better choice for a door. However, the minus point of the renovation is that the roof of the house only covers half of the house as the extended part does not have a roof. The Qi of the house will be unevenly distributed. This might lead to some problems later on.
