AHMAD'S TREE

At one time, Lai Yoong and I were trying to look for a willow tree to get the leaves for our mutual friend, Haji Ahmad Hasnin.  He was having a bad case of the burps which just didn't seem to go away.  He had tried a lot of medicine and methods sto be cured of the constant burping but was unsuccessful.  So I related my friend's problem to my sifu and had recommended the use of the leaves of the willow tree and flowers for a Floral Bath that would rid him of negative energies.
Since dear ole' Ahmad had no idea what was a willow tree, Lai Yoong and I took it upon ourselves to get the leaves for him.  We searched everywhere and finally found a plant at the Mee Cafe.  Unfortunately, that was not the species that my sifu had recommended.   Anyway, I finally found the tree in Tambun.
When the two of us were visiting the Tua Pek Kung Temple in Pasir Panjang, we found that the plants were planted all around the temple grounds.  Nowadays, Lai Yoong and I have fondly nicknamed the willow tree as Ahmad's Tree since we are reminded of him each time we come across such a plant.
