I too made sure that I paid my respects to the Goddess on Her birthday. As I had to go after school with Kamariah to settle some matters to do with the graduation day for the fifth formers next week, I only reached the Lumut Temple at 6.00 p.m. I brought along a Lotus shaped candle to offer to the Goddess. As can be seen in the pictures above, I was not alone as many others had also purchased these candles as offerings as well. The offering of these Lotus-shaped candles symbolises the attainment of wisdom.
