JUICY RED RAMBUTANS

While I was driving back to Ipoh from Sitiawan yesterday morning, I saw this man on a bicycle with a big basket of juicy, red rambutans along the highway.  I stopped the car by the side of the road and had a better look at the rambutans.  Yeah!  They indeed looked very red and the man let me try one.  Yahoo!  Very sweet and lekang (means the flesh comes off easily from the seed).  I paid him the RM10 for the bunch and took my bounty back to the car.
You see me with my big bunch of rambutans back home before I removed the fruit from the hairy skin.  I like to put them into the fridge and eat them when chilled.
