'JALAN-JALAN MARI MAKAN'

I had a very late lunch today.  What time did I eat?  3.40 p.m.  Yeah!  I had some work to settle in school and only managed to do lunch at such a late hour.  Furthermore, my car was still in Toyota Service Centre for servicing and so Kamariah was the driver.  Early in the morning, I had Lai Yoong send me back to school from the service centre after I left my car there.
We decided to go to Teluk Batik to enjoy the food at Silaturahim Restaurant.  The food there is delicious and reasonably priced.  They also serve a variety of Ulam-ulaman (salads).  By the way, silaturahim is an Arabic word meaning bonding or close ties.
The tagline for the Silaturahim Restaurant in Teluk Batik is "Jalan-jalan Mari Makan".
'Jalan-jalan Mari Makan" means "When visiting this place, do come and eat".  Clever of the proprietor to think of such an inviting tagline.
Now, they have even come up with a homestay programme.
