YUMMILICIOUS LOCAL FRUITS

Yeh! Yeh! It is fruit season now and everywhere I go I am greeted with a colourful feast of local fruits. Top on the list is of course the durian, the king of fruits. Though I like eating it, I have to practise restraint as I get headaches after eating them. Most probably because they are heaty.

I would usually buy the rambutans as I am okay eating them.  However, I dare not indulge as too much of this juicy fruit can make me cough.

 I am pictured at a roadside stall in Manjung. 

 On sale are rambutans, durians and mangosteens.

 The rambutans are selling at RM5 for a kilogram.

 The mangosteens are also sold at RM5 for each kilo.
