A SORE AND GRUMPY BEAR

In the above pictures I appear to be happily showing off the two Bear Shaped Hair Clips that I bought from the market but in actuality I am a bundle of nerves at present.  There are a couple of things worrying me and none are family or work related.
What worries me is my state of health.  I am sure that many of you know that I have been drinking water from a corroded faucet and pipe for a few months and my main worry is whether my health has been affected.  I have been having very frequent headaches lately and also for the past couple of months I had suffered from a bad case of acne.  No doubt I have headaches but then they do not last for 2 whole weeks. Usually, the migraines or headaches go away in a day or two.  Actually, I am having a headache as I am writing this.  And because of the acne, I now have some scars on my right face and my ear.
So the pictures above don't really reflect how I am feeling now.  If you ask my mum and aunt, I am like a sore bear walking around the house.  Furthermore, both don't know about the corroded faucet issue.  As it is both are very old and I do not want to worry them.  Though I handed in the letter of complaint last Thursday, I have yet to hear anything from the people from the Kar Sin Enterprise, the housing development company. In the meantime, they have to live with a sore and grumpy bear at home.  And ... the thought of having to appear in a press conference organised by the Sitiawan MCA Service Centre does seem to be a bit daunting.  Expect more cranky pictures of me fooling around to ease my tension.

Hi Miss Cheah, why don't you just have the water filtered through a simple filter system before letting out of the tap. These kind of filters are not expensive ( ~ RM 60) and are effective in removing rust and most small particles....at least untill you get copper pipes changed. Alternatively, switch to bottled distilled waster for drinking.

I did use a water filtration system costing around RM50 but somehow it was so saturated that it got spoilt within a couple of weeks. I bought another and the same thing happened.
Nowadays I am drinking bottled mineral water and coconut juice before the pipes in my house get tested.
Thanks for the concern.

Hi Miss Cheah, for the filtration system, look for those that has a removable filter core that can be changed as and when needed (eg of one brand is Atlas). The whole unit would cost probably ~ RM 60 but the white removable filter core would probably cost ~ RM 20.
Actually in the long term for your health sake, maybe you want to consider those 19 gallons distilled water. They cost about RM 10 plus, but would probably last you sometime if you just use it for drinking.
As for your house pipes, insist that those crooks change it to copper pipes.
