OH! OH! NO MERRY MAKING IN MY NEW HOUSE FOR THE RABBIT YEAR

Source: http://www.victoriousfengshui.co.uk/en/index.php
I had planned to invite the teachers, staff and my students over to my new house for the coming Chinese New Year but after looking at the Flying Star chart for the year of the Rabbit, I realised that it is not feasible.  Why?  It is because my house faces East and this direction is badly afflicted by the dreaded 5 Yellow Misfortune Star.
Just why is this star so scary?
Let me explain. The 5 Yellow star is extremely unstable and is highly dangerous.  When disturbed it brings tragedy, illness, lawsuits and major losses. In the Year of the Rabbit, the East sector is visited by this star.  The best remedy for the 5 Yellow is to keep the place quiet without any form of disturbance.  Metal cures are to be placed here to keep any damage at a minimum. There should strictly be NO renovations and  NO digging.
Also the colour red is taboo for this area.  So one should not place any red objects, bright lights, candles or anything related to fire here as it would trigger off the ill-effects of Wu Wang or the 5 Yellow.

Here is more advice on how to deal with this VOLATILE star:
  • If EAST is your bathroom, storage room or garage, or any other areas you are not using excessively, than the negative power on this sector is not activated. Try to keep this area as quiet as possible and avoid renovations or any building work in this part of your home.
  • If this is your main room, front door or kitchen, and you cannot avoid using this sector all together, make sure you at least do not disturb the ground and the walls inside and outside until January 22, 2012. Avoid playing loud music in this area, as well as using TV. If you can reposition the stereo system and major electronics from the EAST to the more suitable sector of your living room, this would be the best solution. If not- place additional cures to decrease vibrations in this area.
  • Placing a large piece of Brown Jasper near the TV or other major electronics in the EAST.  It is believed to absorb negative energy, and to reduce geopathic and environmental stress, as well as cure some negative energy of 5 Yellow. You can also use Black Tourmaline, Tibetan Quartz, Selenite or Hematite, both inside and outside your house. These crystals will automatically clear any negative energy that has been absorbed in the process.Selenite is a crystal of highly spiritual vibrations that carries some strong protective energies as well.
  • Tibetan Quartz is a powerfully protective type of Clear Quartz that is mined in the Himalayan Mountains of Tibet, and is highly prized for it’s metaphysical properties. A crystal of supreme peace, Tibetan Quartz also has very strong healing energies. This crystal can be used with all of the chakras to enhance the strength and integrity of the human energy field as well.
  • Black Tourmaline is also commonly used for its ability to radiation and electromagnetic pollution. Black Tourmaline is one of the most popular metaphysical stones, known for its protective and grounding energies. Black Tourmaline can repel and transmute negative vibrations, and has been used by Ancient healers to strengthening victims of psychic attacks and protect from possible illness or violence. Beside placing it in EAST sector you can also carry Black Tourmaline in your pocket all year long for protection.
  • Place a pair of Pi Yao in the EAST in 2011, to pacify the effect of Tai Sui. Pi Yao originally known as Pi Xie is a Chinese mythical creature considered to be a very powerful protector. Pi Yao is considered an influential and auspicious creature for wealth. Pi Yao was respected as it was the pet of Tai Sui (Grand Duke Jupiter) and by displaying and taking care of Pi Yao, Tai Sui reduces or eliminates it’s negative influence and misfortune. Place Pi Yao in the EAST sector, facing the EAST as well. If your main door or the bedroom are in the EAST, also use 5 Element Pagoda in this area for an additional cure.
EAST cures are:
  • Do not use Fire element colors in the EAST. Use Grey, blue, white or silver colors in your decoration instead (from curtains to the wall accessories). If EAST is your kitchen, in 2011 use the dishes of above mentioned colors. If this is your dining area, try to move your dinners or meal eating in general into another area for this year. Place a set of 6 Chinese I-Ching coins tied in a row with red ribbon in the EAST. Place a Brass Wu-Lou in the EAST sector or the east corner of your bedroom.
  • Use round metal objects in the EAST. Place image or the figure of the Dragon in the EAST, but DO NOT use RED DRAGONS. Black, Silver or Gold Dragons are preferred.
  • Do NOT place any RED objects, in the EAST, as well as avoid burning any candles or use any triangular-shaped items in this sector until January 22, 2012.
  • Most important- avoid disturbing this area in any way. Any renovations needs to be possibly postponed until 2012.
  • Place crystal cures, especially Black Tourmaline or Tibetan Quartz in this area, to reduce any vibrations created by electronic equipment.
  • THE MOST IMPORTANT CURE FOR EAST, as well as WEST in 2011 is a SALT WATER CURE.

So there goes my plan for merry making at my new house for the new year.  Well, as a believer of Feng Shui, I will heed the advice given and make sure that I will do the merry making elsewhere and keep my house as calm and as quiet as possible.  After all, there is always the next year ...
