MALE AND FEMALE BIRDS

I learnt something new from a trader who was selling plants at the TEMAN Complex last weekend. He told me that the flowers for the Pedilanthus plants can be differentiated into male and female.


Here shows me how to differentiate the flowers. Check out the next picture for a close-up.
The male bird is on the left. It has a long stick like projection coming out from the tail end. The female bird on the right has frill-like back with golden specks at the tail part. It also has the stick like projection.

This is something interesting that I learnt and am sharing with you here.
