MOONSHAPED KUIH

I discovered this new Kuih or bite sized snack at the Ramadhan Bazaar in Seri Manjung this evening.  It is shaped like a half moon and is bright yellow in colour.  When I asked the vendor for the name of the Kuih, she told me that it was called Kuih Bulan or literally translated to mean Moon Cake.  It is by no means similar to the Chinese Moon Cake.  The filling inside is kaya (a type of jam made from coconut).  The kuih is sold at RM1 for 3 pieces.
