Paul Oktopus chooses Spain as the winner
The FIFA World Cup 2010 will draw to an end pretty soon. Actually, we will all learn whether Spain or Holland in about 6 hours time. Does it really matter whether the Spainiards or the Dutch lift the cup? To some YES but to me NO. I had a great time this past month watching the matches and seeing the excitement and the stories that accompanied each of the matches. Then there was the ever present drone of the vuvuzelas. It was the trademark of the South African World Cup. And then there is Paul Oktopus. Who could not know who Paul is? Me reckons Paul is the most famous octopus in the world at the present moment. Yeah! The interesting bit is this psychic octopussy has a price on its head.
I will stay up and watch the World Cup Finals tonight. Let me look like a Panda tomorrow but I will not let vanity get in the way of my enjoyment. Afterall this but comes once every four years. As you can see, I already have dark rings under my eyes from watching the matches and reading stories about the World Cup on the Internet as is evident from my pictues above. After the last match is played, I will have time to get enough beauty sleep to look good again.
