Here is a traditional cure of cough that was sent to me via email by another Miss Cheah. It seems that the person who recommended this was coughing for two weeks and and tried other types of treatment but was till coughing until a colleague shared this traditional cough treatment with her.
Here is how to go about it.
個橙開小小頂, 界十字
Cut off a little shelf of top.
Insert the knife into the pulp for about 10 times.
加半茶匙鹽 Add ½ teaspoon of salt
Cover with the sliced top.
Add toothpick to secure.
放入碗內隔水蒸20分鐘
Place in a bowl and steam it for 20 minutes
食哂個橙的肉
You have to finish eating the flesh
of the steamed orange.
