Besides pomeloes, Tambun is famous for its Tau Sa Biscuits. Tambun biscuits (tau sah peah (淡汶豆沙饼) in Hokkien and tau sah pang in Cantonese) is basically a baked biscuit with thin and slightly oily layer of skin wrapping containing a lot of green bean/mung bean paste.
The biscuits carry the halal logo nowadays and so we can also give them to our Muslim friends. My sister bought a few boxes to give to bring back to her nursery school and she made sure that the biscuits were halal since one of the teachers at the school was a Malay lady.
