One thing that I would usually do is to go to the temple and pray on my birthday. Usually I would do it on my Chinese birthday but this year I also went to the temple on April 17 since it was a weekend and I was home in Ipoh. I only managed to go to the Buddhist temple in Kampung Koh at around 7 p.m. today as I had some things to do before that. The temple is under renovation at the present moment and the entrance was narrow because of the scaffolding. However, I managed to enter the compound. I lit the lotus candle that I had bought along and then offered joss-sticks to Buddha. I had my moment with Lord Buddha to thank him for his blessings and also to seek more blessings from Him for the following year. I had wished for a year filled with good health and also lots of happiness.
