FAILURE

This was the custard pudding that I made last night.  Obviously it is not up to standard.  Sometimes when we learn to cook something, the product of our first few attempts might not turn out right.  Anyway, I am not going to give up and will be making more.
By the way, my students helped me to finish the custard pudding today.  So nothing is wasted.
