MY GODMOTHER AND ADVISER

I am pictured with my godmother who is a traditional healer.  She is good at giving traditional massages and is also a palmist and tarot card reader.  She is the one I usually refer to when I need advice on astrology, palmistry, Feng Shui and matters relating to Chinese culture.  My godmother keeps reminding me to be ultra careful when selecting dates for special occasions as a wrong date might result in something that is not good for the people who have asked me to choose a date for them to move house, to get married or to open a new business.  That is why I would sometimes ask her to choose the dates as she has been doing it for more than 50 years.
Actually she is rather disappointed with me as I have no patience to learn more about Chinese medicine, traditional massage  and tarot card reading from her.  She keeps saying that she is almost eighty years old and insists on having people to pass her skills onto.  Whenever I go visit her and if she is treating someone she would be teaching me where to apply pressure to certain points when massaging a patient and then also how to prepare the ingredients for making a poultice for wounds.  Similarly, she keeps giving me pointers when she does readings for people's fortunes using the Tarot cards.  I am not too good at arranging the cards but once she does the arrangement for a consultation, I am able to read the fortune too.  However, I need to concentrate.
I actually caught her at a bad time this evening as she had a lot of guests who had come to visit her for Chinese New Year and was busy in the kitchen preparing things for them.  Hence the dishevelled look.
