I am sure that many people would go gaga when they see a sporty or posh looking car. For me, I have delusions of being behind the wheel of the sports car above. It was on display for a bridal fashion show at the Kinta City Shopping Centre and I just couldn't resist having my picture taken with it.
Some people believe that if you want something really badly and if you place the picture of it in an auspicious sector in your house, then somehow you might get your wish. Actually, I think it has more to do with the self-fulfilling prophesy than Lucky Stars. The power of the mind to make us to actualize what we desire is far stronger than luck. In Feng Shui, this is called Mankind luck or what we make of ourselves and what we have. By the way, I think it only works for objects and not human beings. Say I like Brad Pitt and place a picture of him to motivate me. I don't think that what I do would help me get Brad Pitt. Why? Because the other Lina has got him under her spell, that's why. Also, love and marriage are governed by Heaven Luck and not Mankind Luck.
As for me and the sports car, it is just wishful thinking. It is not practical for me to own one as I am not dripping in cash and also there is only room for two persons in such a car. Where am I going to place my Aunty Linda?
