LOOKING LIKE ANIME CHARACTERS

What you see below are a few of many young men and women from the South Korean entertainment industry who have surgically altered their looks to make them more telegenic. Well, they are in an industry where good looks is everything and so would do anything to become better looking in order to become famous and successful. Actually, they also put themselves at risk as the surgical procedures might go wrong and they end up looking worse or might even endanger their lives in the process.
What is weird is that, these young men and women are looking more like characters out of some comics and manga. Below are pictures of how ordinary folks get transformed into anime characters.

Here is a picture of a plain looking Korean girl.

Believe it or not, the plain Korean girl in the first picture above is the one in the second and third pictures? Yeah! The wonders of plastic surgery. From a plain Miss Kim above, the skilful cosmetic surgeon has managed to transform her into a character looking very much like one in a manga or an anime.

This girl had obviously had work done on her small eyes, round nose and big face.

Look at her now. It seems like a different person but it is actually the same as the one above after the surgeon had worked on her.

Here are the school photos of this celebrity. Looks like any ordinary girl, right?

See, how she looks like now. If her parents did not know she'd gone for surgery, I am sure they wouldn't have been able to recognise her.

Doesn't he look like a character from a Japanese manga? Big eyes, sharp nose and small face.

Her features have been altered to look doll-like. She could pass for a mannequin in a store.

Besides, having her eyes made very much bigger, the girl decided to have a very pointy nose as well. If she has any more surgery done to her face, she'd end up looking like a mannequin than an anime character.
