WISHING WELL AT THE PALOH KU MIU

Water spouting out from the mighty dragon statue
Getting the blessed water flowing from the dragon's mouth
The wishing well built in 2006
Ah! Make me prettier and luckier. The water from the dragon's mouth would be ultra yang when the sun is over the top of our heads
Getting to throw a coin after making my wish
Mrs Cheah getting some dragon water
Wishing for good health and happiness
Making their wishes
Me in front of the wishing well
Every time I go to the Paloh Ku Miu, I would make sure that I get some of the Dragon Water spouting out from the dragon's mouth. The Chinese believe that the water is most potent when the sun is at its zenith.
Ya! Ya! Ya! Some people might say that is is superstition and that the water is the same old water that we can get anywhere. But don't forget that that particular dragon statue and the well was blessed by a master during a special ceremony. The eyes of the dragon was dotted with red cinnabar by a renowned sifu. Besides, it is located within the temple premise and the prayers from the temple would have blessed the water in it. What is wrong with believing in divine powers?
