When I was learning geomancy from my Feng Shui teacher, she told me that having a front door or front window open directly to a window or door at the back of the house would mean that Qi might enter from the door and leave quickly via the back door or window. How to overcome this? Simple, just use a screen like the one above. You need to place a big screen to block the alignment to prevent good Qi from entering and leaving your house immediately.
